What diameter describes
Diameter is the width across the rim of the cup, usually stated in millimetres. It is one of the simplest numbers to compare across product pages because it answers a single question: how wide is the rim?
MonthlyCup’s published guide lists Mini at 37 mm diameter, Normal at 43 mm and Plus at 47 mm. Those values describe product dimensions. They do not guarantee fit.
What cup length describes
Cup length describes the body of the cup without the stem when a product page separates the two. In MonthlyCup’s published guide, Mini is listed with a cup length of 45 mm, while Normal and Plus are listed with cup lengths of 55 mm.
This number is useful because total length can look larger when the stem is included. Always check whether the page is referring to the cup body only or the complete cup including stem.
What total length describes
Total length includes the stem. MonthlyCup’s published guide lists Mini at 55 mm total length and Normal and Plus at 65 mm total length. The Normal Pink product information also lists 55 mm without stem and 65 mm including stem.
When two values are shown, avoid mixing them. A “55 mm” number might describe Mini total length in one context and Normal cup length without stem in another.
What capacity to holes describes
Capacity should be read with its measurement point. MonthlyCup’s guide lists capacity to holes: Mini 15 ml, Normal 22 ml and Plus 43 ml. “To holes” matters because it tells you where the capacity measurement is taken.
Capacity is relevant to comparison, but it is not a personal medical recommendation. MonthlyCup’s guide advises comparing measurements with individual flow and preferences.
